Chapter One: He's Hurting Me

You're trapped in a relationship with your abusive boyfriend, Michael. You've been together since you were both 17 and you're now 21. He verbally abuses you as well as physically, causing you to have a quiet personality and a very low confidence level. Michael is an alcoholic, as well as a drug addict and you feel helpless in your situation.

Until one 4th of July while Michael is in the restroom during the fireworks show you meet a man with a wild personality, he makes you laugh despite only knowing him for a few minutes. He gives you his number and name and you got to talking every time Michael was away. His name is Ronnie Radke.
