Description
Bea, Oliver, Millie, Jack and Chris are long term friends from England (and some were in relationships - Oliver and Millie who met during their law firm internship) who vacationed on a privately owned island in the Philippines, their plans were thrown out to the waves, when the Covid 19 pandemic hit and the friends were stranded on an island. Their Filipino host were with them assisting on food and supplies. While stranded on the island, they meet an Austrian and a Swedish couple, Dario and Emilia. The couple are ready to disrupt their group dynamics, being becoming absolutely bored with their relationship. While somehow united by race, in the midst of being foreigners stranded on an Asian island, but they're very much separated by intentions and values. The group is cynical, but the couple is on a brink of break up due to sheer amount of familiarity and boredom. As the original 14 day lockdown, prolongs to 60 days, their psychology questioned. Their loyalties questioned. Mike and Emilia, desperate repair their relationship while annexing to the English group of friends located at the opposite end of the small island. However, their friendships, and relationships questioned, some were fractured whilst some form new closer allegiances formed.
