Prologue

Kailani Kiyomizu is a Singaporean girl. Her mother is Japanese, while her dad is Singaporean. She has a younger sister, Kaize, and loves her mother Akayu Kiyomizu and her dad Kaid Li very much.

She normally speaks English, with the occasional Japanese phrase just to make her mom happy. She's never enquired why she hasn't met her mom's family before because she doesn't think it's that important.

However, one day, she finds that there may be more to her Japanese origins than meets the eye...
