Chapter 1 (Introduction)

Emily Parker age 10 and her brotherSimon Parker age 16 have been in the foster system for 6 years now. Between group homes, foster homes, and Simon even spent some time in juvie. Nothing has been well or even stable long enough to get established or security. One night when things go completely south and Simon makes a Decision for both him and Emily, they meet some Detectives who will change their lives, especially when a couple is interested in potentially adopting them.
