Description
Lou is a witch in hiding. Not just any witch either. She and her sister are next in line for High Priestess of their coven. Lou's powers are so strong her coven sees her as their property. A tool to be used "for the good of the coven." After devastating events, she, her sister, and nephew Alexi go into hiding and stop practicing magic. The sisters used to be close, but now their relationship is heavily strained. Lou lacks identity and purpose. She takes a job disguised as a human at The Society: the government entity that oversees all magical operations on the North American continent. A very risky move for someone in her situation. There she receives a letter that changes the course of her life, her identity, and her relationships. What will happen when her powers are discovered? Does someone in her position end up with a Flame (i.e. witches version of mate)? Would a Flame reject her outright for leaving her coven when they needed her most?
