The Land of Kierva (The Philippines) was a peaceful non bending country ruled by his Majesty the King. After the death of his former Queen, King Joselito marries Victorina a non bending widow from the fire nation. Along with her two daughters Paulita and Amara, she sets sail to Kierva. Amara, the shy and caring younger daughter who was cursed in her youth to transfer anyone's physical and mental strains to herself was happy to have a new life, however a few visits to the Fire Nation Palace and the unlikely friendship with the crown Prince led her to realize a secret that would endanger her right on Kierva's throne. She was a fire bender. Afraid of disappointing her parents she and Prince Lu Ten hide her treasonous capabilities until, the news of her best friend's death had reached her. Devastated the Princess went back home to Kierva, where an unexpected turn was about to happen in her life. Prince Zuko, now on his quest to capture the Avatar made Amara realize the change in her view of the angry banished Prince. She is rebelious but kind and gentle yet after all that he did, the hotheaded Prince Zuko found that he may not have not fulfilled his own duty of capturing the Avatar but the Princess of Kierva, may have captured his heart.
