Description

I wrote these poems as an Aussie farmer during the drought in 2019. 2019 was the last year of the drought, we had already suffered however for 4 years without rain. There were extreme bushfires swallowing the country and even worst dust storms that occurred multiple times a day, it felt there was no escape from the madness that had become our daily lives. These poems were a voice for that frustration and writing it down was my own personal plea of desperation. Right after the draught in 2019 however we got flooding in early 2020, welcomed flooding by most except for those who lost most of there homes and belongs. And well soon after that we had the pandemic hit Australia pretty hard where we went in lock down mid April. Everyday the news spreading so much fear. We were scared to leave our homes. Again I wrote more poetry to cope with the fact that we had just come from one hell the draught to now this new hell the pandemic! It honestly felt like tHe fried would never end. These poems are a representation of that time. I hope you all enjoy.
