Alcina Dimitrescu, lady of the castle on top of a small Romanian village and one of the lords of it, killed yet another maiden, having found the young woman to be spying on her and her daughters.

Mother Miranda is growing tired of that too, decides to send her a special maiden, one she knows as loyal, one of her own personal ones.

Alcina doubts it but cannot say no to Mother Miranda and so this new maiden enters her life, shaking up what she thought about humans and their abilities and, maybe, finds what has been missing in her life all along.
