Alyrica moved from America to Britain 5 years agowhen her parents first discovered that she had magic. Both her parents have magic so Alyrica is a pureblood. She was sorted into Slytherin in 1st year but she has always unusually ben great friends with Harry, Ron and Hermione. It is the end of summer and she is going into her 6th year at Hogwarts.
