Description
Nera Reathe, captain of the Liorian army, lives a normal life for a captain: defending her city from eyrecs (the black spiny monsters that live in the nearby city Karisa), trying to keep on her commander's good side, attempting to not strangle the aggravating general, and basically keeping her land safe. Yeah. Thing is, when the eyrecs finally make it into the city, that seems like the end of Nera's peaceful life. And it kinda is. Peace is shattered as the warrior legend King of Blades arrives to help the city. Nera is invited to come with him when he leaves for the Blacklands, where he stays regularly because of the constant threat of dangerous trio. But then, Nera and the King of Blades realize that the real villain has been among them the whole time- and he's much more dangerous than they could've imagined.
