Description
Opal had a normal life. She considered herself to be invisible, irrelevant to the ones who mattered the most to her, so she shut herself off. She stopped talking to her family as much and she ended up alone with no friends. But she was managing fine on her own, she thought, until the day that her mother passed away. It's not like she wasn't expecting it, she knew that it would happen, her mother had been sick for two years, but still, she had never felt this much pain in her entire life. Especially, because of the guilt that comes with pushing the people you love away. That was, until the day that a man claiming to me Hades, the god of the dead, said that he could bring her mother back. All that she had to do was live with him for one year in the underworld. Easy, right? But Opal is not a forgiving person and when she holds a grudge she holds it like her life depends on it. Will she let it go when she realizes that her hatred for Hades was turning into the total opposite? Will she realize that the god had always had other plans other than just living with her? Will she be able to swallow her pride and make her part of the deal? After all, she had made a deal with a god, and those aren't meant to be broken.
