With Unalaq and Vatuu vanquished, rest and recuperation is on the mind of all Republic City inhabitants. At least that's what everyone assumes. The spirit portals being opened for the first tome in ten thousand years has left a bring for any and everyone to travel through.....or anything. A malicious spirit escapes to the human world and injures Korra, but leaves behind some unusual side effects that put not only her, but everyone in danger. It doesn't help that surfacing feelings for her former love rival confuse the situation even more. What's an avatar to do?
