Description
Iyra stirs in her sleep as sweat drips from her forehead at the disturbing image of her parents and sister dead and mutilated. She wanted to open her eyes and scream anything to get out of dream, then she heard a scream of agony not hers, but a girl who looked like a princess fell over the bodies of her family and sobbed as the love of her life stood over the dead bodies with a smile of triumph. At that moment Iyra too felt the betrayal and pain the woman felt. She stood up with rage and grabbed a sword ready to fight but she was outnumbered. This time it was Iyra who screamed as the woman in the dream turned the sword around and pointed it at herself. "I might go today but I will return when I do that...", she gritted her teeth as her eyes leaked ceaselessly. "What? You will fall for me all over again?", he spoke for the first time chuckling at her misery. "Let me do the honors sweetheart", his smile turned to a sinister one as he covered her hands which were around the blade, and pushed into her heart with her own hands. "Come back to me so that I can ruin you all over again", Iyra kept screaming and thrashing around the bed as she couldn't get out of the dream. •______• A curse, by a distraught woman who lost everything to a man who betrayed her. A prophecy, of a girl who saves her people from the aftereffects of the curse. A war, that ravages everyone and everything. And he wants nothing but that even if he has to kill the woman he loves. A hope, given by a boy who will do anything and everything for his girl who is busy saving her people.
