Chapter 1

Amelia has just moved from LA to Seattle, to start a new life after she completed her fellowship. Owen has been living in Seattle for two years after having taken up a job there, after the explosion that killed his platoon and rendered him discharged from the army. Owen and Amelia meet at the vet's office, where both are there to have their dog's checked up. What will happen when the two coincidentally come across each other, again?
