How one meets his end

Zed,tired of everything he has done for the shadows,all the blood,all the betrayal,all the butchery he has caused for others,has decided to end it all through an ancient ritual which will cleanse the shadows for good,but it will kill him in the progress. Why shouldn't he do it? He has nothing to lose,noone to hurt,noone to care for... The order of shadows,will find someone else,someone stronger,someone better and with a better purpose...
