Part 1

Alec stood there, his mouth open at the sight he was just witnessing.

"What?" Alex came out of the building with black ash all over his face and clothes. In his arms was a limp Giullianna. She looked so graceful, deathly beautiful. The ash has lightly set in her clothes. Her fiery hair hanging in thick long spiraled locks, swinging and hitting the back of his thigh. Her milky skin so vibrant against the black clouds building up from the sky.

Alex almost looked unreal. Like he was a prince saving his princess from the forgotten castle. He carried her like he was never gonna let go. His expression tired but strong. His body was exhausted but purposeful. Everything was surreal. Moving in slow motion.
