Prologue

There are a lot of strange patients in Rutledge Asylum -- that's kind of the point -- but none are as mysterious as the little girl with the patched hare toy that always seems to come back to her no matter how many times it's taken away. Her origin, her age, her silence, her scream, her rabbit...not even a team of scientists and researchers can figure it all out. But two rebels, from opposite sides of the world, might be able to figure it out.
