Monsters are now free to roam the surface, though it wasn't exactly the kind of freedom they were looking forward to as humans discriminate and restrict them from coexisting in society as equals. Y/n is the newest generation of Chara's bloodline and a human who is able to wield magic, which is rare in this day and age as most humans who practice magic have died out a long time ago with the modernisation of technology. One day, Chara shows up at Y/n's doorstep. Raising a troubled child alone isn't as easy as it looks. However, Chara isn't the only one who is suffering under the surface. Frisk made a promise to Sans to never reset... but will they keep it?
