Prologue

Walking On air is about a girl called Melanie who stopped talking when she was around the age of seven. She doesn't remember why she stopped talking, but all she does remember is a dream that she keeps on having. This dream haunts her day after day. Even though she doesn't know why she has stopped talking, she does know that she must not talk until she finds out the truth.
