A rundown figure was found on the beach midorya was cleaning.
It was a robot.
Destroyed.
Midorya was intrigued and took it home.
(bc why tf not)
When he had time, he would try fix the poor robot and he was doing somewhat well but with studies at UA, training etc he didn't have a lot of time (he also had no clue how to)
