A year or so after the game has ended, Shuichi finds himself at a standstill. He is forced from his home, and he had no idea where to go. He assumed life would be better once they escaped the simulation. However, due to a series of circumstances, he comes face to face with the enigma that he hated so much. Even worse, he had to ask him for help.

A slice of life story as Shuichi and Kokichi's relationship grows, and we end up learning a lot more about Kokichi's past and experiences.
