Who could say that your life could change with a single book...wished someone could've told them sooner

Blanc found an interesting book in her many piles of books, after reading it she found out about a certain person named Y/N and soon became her favorite character, however one scene which shows the death of certain 'normal human' dragged her attention enough to cross dimensions and go save him from what the book said was a 'Spirit'

The weird thing would be...no magic existed in his world, did these Spirits come from a different world along with Blanc?
