Edgar Holmes is not normal he's quite the opposite. Five years ago he was sent to America by his brothers after a mental break down and is quickly given up on. He lives in an abandoned boarding school where he spends his days. But one day there is a knock at Edgar's door, a homeless girl named Ellie who's caught in a storm and seeks shelter at the school. Ellie is not sure why she stays at the school but finds a reason to stay as time unfolds Edgar's mysteries are revealed and she may not like what's at the end of the path
