Severus moved to Beacon Hills after he graduated Hogwarts. He was invited to Lily and James wedding and he went. He never loved Lily romantically. He loved her like a younger sister. But after the wedding he congrats them then left back to Beacon Hills.

A few years later he sees Sirius Black and Remus Lupin in Beacon Hills.
