The short story of a child growing up in poverty with a love addicted mother. A small child searching for a just for the moment friend, while moving from town to town and switching schools before anyone had the chance to get to know him. 4 schools in the first grade, with 4 towns too match made it impossible to connect with children his age. He was always the new kid. At a crucial point in his development, he was diagnosed with a condition that caused his skin change pigment. As an entry in the Netflix partner track writing contest, I invite you to enjoy this short story.
