Why'd the Blackbird do that?

Merle can create portals, to the past, to the future, to different places. She comes to the place that might be the biggest decision in her entire life, but she might've made the wrong choice. Can Merle actually fix it or has she completely destroyed her future? If every version of herself can't convince her to do it, can she do the same?
