The Beginning

"...that feeling came back...

Hard.

Suddenly my vision became blurry I could barely see and I jolted as I felt the link with my pack break.

My brain was pounding against my skull so hard I thought a vein would burst.

Simultaneously the link between my dad and I grew weaker, until it was almost gone.

Something so faint it felt as if it was never there.

A fiery pang in my chest left me breathless.

I'm stumbling towards the exit, knocking everything down as I go.

As much as I didn't want to believe it, I knew it could only mean one thing--

I've just lost my entire pack.

And my father.

All at once.

Someone.

Anyone.

Please tell me this isn't happening..."
