Life in the Night Court is difficult for Lysander Marzena between juggling his official duties and personal affairs. As a high-ranking Illyrian warrior and a member of Rhysand's Inner Circle, Lysander takes his responsibilities very seriously. Sometimes too seriously. His family often has to remind him to take a break and focus on himself for a change. What they don't know is that he purposefully neglects doing so. If he did, he would be alone with his thoughts and forced to face many truths he's been trying to avoid. But unbeknownst to Lysander, a problem has arisen in the Winter Court, and from it, something will come to bring an end to life as he knows it. Or rather, someone. This story takes place several years after A Court of Silver Flames and follows the storyline I have set out in my previous fanfictions. This fanfiction may not fall in line with the actual storyline once the ACOTAR series is continued, and it will NOT be updated to match it. This book is set 21 years after A Court of Snow and Storms.
