Chapter 1

The cold barrel presses sharply into my temple. "Go on," I goad. "Isn't this what you do to the people who piss you off?" His gaze hardens. His hand on my hip flexes involuntarily. His other hand flicks the safety back on, his eyes never leaving mine.

"I shoot bad guys."

"What do you do to bad girls?" He gaze flicks to my mouth. He drags the gun down my face, over my cheek, until it rests against my lips.

"Suck."
