Prologue

Scarlett and Artemis are two women from vastly different worlds. Scarlett, born into wealth and privilege, has always had everything she's ever wanted handed to her on a silver platter. She lives in the fast-paced city, surrounded by skyscrapers and the energy of the busy streets. Artemis, on the other hand, used to work hard to get what she wants. She comes from a small town in the province, where she is content with her big family and the simple life of her small barrio. She is a woman who is content with her life, but still striving and joyful.

Despite their vastly different backgrounds and perspectives, these two women will come to realize that they have more in common than they ever thought possible. When they meet, their worlds will collide, and they will be forced to confront their own prejudices and assumptions about each other. They will break fresh ground in terms of romance, learning to see beyond their vastly different lifestyles and discovering that true love knows no bounds. They'll discover the beauty of taking risks, stepping out of their comfort zones, and being open to new experiences.
