Chapter 1

In a kingdom where the gap between the rich and the poor is determined by physical appearance, Azrael born of royal blood is heir to the throne of Gertha, but because of a prophecy told before his birth he is treated with distain and hatred especially by his parents who see him as a threat and worst of all, because he is flawed. The prophecy foretells that he will be a darkness and a snare to his father, opposing his father in everything, and he has also been destined to bridge the gap between the flawed and the flawless; bringing down his father and destroying everything that has been put to play even long before his birth. His family hates him because he is flawed and they treat him as such, denying him of his rights as heir to the throne. With a father who sees him as an enemy and will do anything to make sure he remains weak and insecure because of his flaws, Azrael is left with no one to turn to not even his own mother, but he must rise and face every opposition put before him by his parents and fulfill his part in the prophecy.
