Ab Distinctio (The Finding)

Winter had fallen over the cabin, it had been empty for years as far as its surrounding neighbors knew. The last inhabitant of the cabin was a young boy named Charlie Davies. He had lived there with his grandfather and mother until they had died. The house was passed down to Charlie after they had died. Then one day when he was about 15 years old he disappeared, no one knew where he went or why, for all they knew he could have died. Few knew about the cabin when the boy had lived there alone, and even fewer know of its existence now. Sometimes the story was told around the campfires in the village of the few who still knew about it. It was, after all, a sad story with a strange ending that not many knew about so it was always welcome at a campfire's side.
