Being released from prison should be a joyful occasion, even if it's on probation. It meant not dealing with prison riots, hateful glares, slurs, and less than edible food. It was a chance to start over and repair your life - start over. And for anyone else it would've been, but for her...it was anything but a joyous occasion. It might as well been a nightmare.
