The ogres are in a famine. They have to cannibalize each other to survive. But one family want's to spare their strange child. They left him alone in the forest with a knife. Somehow the child manages to stumble inside a cave and encounter a giant dragon and a small slime named rimuru. So the dragon chooses to name the kid and ask's the kid what he want's to be called joking.
