This is the story of how Eddie Munson wins over Melody Harrington.

Melody Harrington, a sad shell of a girl from New Jersey USA moves in with her aunt, Uncle, and cousin Steve after losing her parents, and being beaten by her boyfriend.

Eddie sees her at a party and can't seem to get her out of his head, despite the fact she's got a new boyfriend.
