18 year old Preston is just trying to make it through high school and get to college; and coincidentally, out of his small hometown in rural Killen, Alabama. And so far, he has played the part of small town country boy almost perfectly. Except, Preston is gay and closeted in an extremely conservative town.
But it's okay, because he's almost out forever. He can play pretend a little longer.
Or that's what Preston thought, before one boy who saves his life tempts him to risk it all.
