Kiya Roberts, born and raised in the beautiful land of Trinidad and Tobago. Her mother is a drug addict and her father is doing time in jail for murder. She lives with her grandparents. Despite the things going on in her life, she strived to build her own path to succeed in life. When she got a scholarship to attend a university in Atlanta, she took it without hesitation.

What was supposed to be a straight journey through college turned out to be ups and downs when she was stuck in a love triangle with two boys. Will she choose the handsome stranger she met on the plane to Atlanta? Or will she choose the boy, who shows his love through his mean behaviour towards her?

Who knows? Maybe she'll choose herself.
