Rowan Byers used to be best friends with Mike Wheeler, Dustin Henderson, Lucas Sinclair, and her twin brother Will Byers. Until she hit Middle School and she 'grew up' out of their childish games.

That is until her brother mysteriously disappears and she starts to have nightmares of her brother in this strange place where everything looks dead and rotted. When the boys Realize she may be the only hope at finding their lost friend, she's pulled into their real life game against her will.
