Author's Note

i'd never felt more stuck in my life, before him that is.

i couldn't get out of this cycle, this schedule.

i felt bored, but exhausted at the same time.

i felt the longing, aching, need to do something, anything. but i didn't know what, or where to begin.

until a boy with curly blonde hair and his friends moved in next door,

"an escape from some sort of past," he said,

and i didn't understand it at the time.

i couldn't have prepared for the tidal wave of changes in my life that "past" would bring.
