What if Billy took Steve, instead of Heather...? ++ season 3 canon-divergent AU | harringrove-centric | roots back in s2, starts in s3e2, and yeah, it's definitely all downhill from here ++ Steve doesn't really know how to explain how he, his 17-year-old Scoops coworker, and the like ninety middleschoolers that stalk him have all ended up trying to basically exorcise Steve's not-boyfriend at midnight in the pouring rain in his mom's brand new jacuzzi, but here they are. CONTENT WARNINGS: The overall content level of this fic is pretty canon-typical of s3/s4 (but gayer. And with a lot more of the word fuck. like a lot. yikes.) Potentially spoiler-y content warnings below. Peruse as needed & take care of yourself! Adult language, non-graphic consensual sex (often while both are intoxicated) implied, referenced, and otherwise. General dark and violent imagery in places. Mention of past child abuse (thanks, Neil Hargrove's A+ Parenting). Drinking (maybe... less underage drinking than in the show, actually??), smoking (legal and less so), and general non-role-model behavior is on display, so I would maybe recommend taking... oh, zero guidance from this fic??
