She only tilts her head though she holds no confusion in her eyes. Both Rowans and the cadres hands reach for their weapons as she holds out a dagger towards Aelin. But Aelin does not startle as she sees no threat in her eyes. "Stand down" Aelin says to Rowan quietly as she takes the dagger from the woman's hand. he does so uneasily but he sees she is truly nonthreatening. The beautiful blue gem in the handle glows slightly as she holds it. All those surrounding cannot help but notice how her eyes light up in almost childlike amazement as well as a wonder-filled smile. But then her eyes cloud over as if she is being called away and a frown covers her face instead. Her body appears to slowly be being taken over by her own darkness, her figure disappearing within it. "Rowan whats happening to her?" Aelin asks with a frightened expression upon her features. "I don't know. I haven't seen this before. I haven't seen anything like her before." he replied but he too looked frightened as she gave one final sad smile and was absorbed into the darkness. Suddenly the air around them didn't feel so light with their victory.
