In a world where your genetics determine your social status, Keith Sayyid a young Doume is making the effort of surviving. He doesn't care about his life, he would like it to end quickly, that's what is supposed to be his destiny. A short life.

But Keith can't bring himself to leave his sister Lilla, alone in this world. So he decides to find a job for the most noble and prestigious family of his time : The Baroni.
