Prologue:

"You can't come back after half a decade after what you did, and still expect everything to be OK. Things have changed; bad things have happened. Things too dangerous to be tampered with..."

Kayla and Luke were the definition of the perfect couple. That is, until Luke's band takes off, and he is forced by their management to leave her behind for their music. For 5 years, they were apart. What could have happened in those 5 years? When they meet again, Luke discovered Kayla has changed. Immensely. Even so, he still has feelings for her. She is his soul mate after all, right?
