1. Prolog

Time always finds a way to begin to heal all wounds. Maybe not completely, maybe the scar will never go away, but the wounds always close and you learn to live with them.

"Digging through the ashes, my boy" smiled the grandfather and his grandson dug the toe of his shoe into the charred remains on the ground.
His eyes widened in surprise as the tip of a newly sprouted new plant poked out from under the ashes, a stark contrast to its fresh green color against the black, burnt surface.
"Life always finds a way to a new beginning, my boy, a little rain, a kiss of sunshine and there you are a new beginning, a new life." the grandfather placed a hand on his grandson's shoulder as the two gazed in admiration at the budding life.
