Description
Elliot Brushwood has no friends at school, and no friends at home either, coming in second to his brother Colby despite being older, unable to focus in school, bullied and side-lined, and too emotional to know how to fight back, it seems as though everything is out of his control. Arran King is the opposite, effortlessly in charge with an unfortunate reputation, a layabout, ruthless, and a murderer... There's nothing Arran dislikes more than weakness. Maybe that's why there was no way the two characters would ever meet. But everything changed when Elliot hit the water, breaking the freezing cold surface of the Lake Ransom, his undue baptism seems to change him forever.
