Delyn Kane felt sheltered her whole life. She breathed borrowed air, drank recycled water. All she's ever known was the Ark, the place that held the last of mankind for 97 years. At least, that's what she thought.

The world that they thought was on fire and burned with radiation held human life. But Delyn didn't think she could see that world. With the Ark running out of oxygen, the Chancellor and the Council were taking every precaution to save what they thought was the rest of the human race, and that meant sending 100 juvenile delinquents to Earth.
