When Livia Dean decides to stay up late one night she hears someone breaking in. She freaks out and grabs a bat before standing in front of the door, waiting. When her brother walks in she's struck with confusion, anger, and joy. He went missing 7 years ago, leaving no trace. Livia is a 23 year old girl with a complicated and scary life but all of it gets even more complicated when her brother explains why he went missing and why he can never come back.
