Wrists clenched into fists, I forced myself to watch my mother's funeral. With shaky hands my grandpa dug a grave for her.
The ashen face of my once cheerful mother made me wish to scream......to cry......to wail and throw a fit. Just like any normal person would do if they lost someone precious to them.

"You mustn't cry." My grandpa spoke with a heavy voice.

"I won't." I told myself.

Because if I did......I am afraid I would break apart and midst this silent night, they would come for us...what was once used to be human........

They would come for us, with only motive to devour our flesh..to feed upon the living.
