This takes place after Amy's European Tour. She hadn't met Ty Borden yet.
Amy's life eventually catches up with her after events that have happened in her life and the control on her from her father breaks her putting her in a Psychiatric Hospital ward. The reports cause friction between Jack and Tim after Jack realises how much control his ex son in law had over his Granddaughter.
But Amy's determined to take back her life.
