Introduction

Relocating to start teaching in the small lakeside town of Westview Pines, Nell Harding's name is the only one on everyone's lips. And a small town means that news travels fast.

With some rather eccentric locals to be met, it's not long before Nell catches the attention of a member of the local police force, Officer Steve Rogers. But Steve has his own troubles, and with the friendship between him and Nell ever growing, the promise that he made to himself about never finding love again looks set to crumble.
